Running in Mexico City

I often write about how difficult it is to run in a big city; Mexico City is no different. However, there are several places where you can run without having to cross a street every 100 meters. There are a number of streets in Roma and Condesa districts that have lovely tree-lined islands down the middle.

I ran primarily in Chapultepec Park. It has a mix of both road and dirt trails. It's very flat but quite large so you can get in 10 or more kilometers without seeing the same thing twice. The park is located just west of Condesa/Roma/Zona Rosa (the main tourist areas), so I only had to run about 1 kilometer to get to the park.
