Pedestrian roads and parks

We stayed in a hotel on Aleksandar Stamboliyski Blvd., only a few blocks from Vitosha Blvd., a pedestrian street that runs north/south, with the south terminus of the pedestrian section at the National Palace of Culture Park.  Running south through this park, you will cross a pedestrian bridge to the next park (called South Park).  The Hilton Sofia is located at the northern end of this park.  You will come to a street called Arsenalski Blvd. and notice some parkland across the street - South Park continues there and for another 2 kilometers south.  So, starting on Vitosha Blvd. at St. Nedelya Church and going to the tip of South Park is about 5.5 kilometers.
